| Course Description |
This intensive and comprehensive two-week course includes a review and update on major subject areas in family medicine. The course is taught by more than 80 faculty members selected for their expertise in areas related to the successful delivery of family health care. The University of Nebraska Medical Center faculty is nationally recognized for their ability to effectively teach and work with primary care practitioners.
This is a very fast-paced course with both pre- and post tests as wells as daily simulated board tests which provide participants with immediate feedback of their knowledge. The course combines best practice strateties and education through case studies, lectures, and workshops. Over 2,000 pages of syllabus materials are provided as a resource for today's office practice as well as future reference.
Target Audience
The course is designed to provide a comprehensive update on the newer developments in medicine for practicing physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, as well as to prepare family medicine physicians for the American Board of Family Medicine examination. |
