In keeping with our purpose statement of the Academy, our NAPA Annual Spring CME Conferences provide a loyal and faithful service to the medical profession and to the public by developing and enforcing continuing educational programs for Physician Assistants and the Academy membership. Traditionally, our lectures focus on primary care as well as specialty care topics. Earning Category I CME hours and enjoying the atmosphere with peers in our profession is the focus of the 4-day conference. NAPA strives to maintain a high quality conference including CME, meals, and entertainment at an affordable cost. |

Welcome ReceptionDon’t miss the Welcome Reception that begins at 8 pm. This event is sponsored by Lincare Home Respiratory. All conference attendees are welcome to attend this event. This gathering ensures a chance to unwind with friends and colleagues while enjoing appetizers and drinks in a casual atmosphere. Wednesday Evening SessionsStart earning CME hours early! Our lectures begin at 6 pm and go until 9pm. This is a great way to pick up 3 hours of CME in one evening. Thursday CMEWake up early to a great full breakfast on NAPA! Enjoy the choice for which lectures to attend today. We offer dual tracking all day with time allotted for visits with pharmaceutical representatives and medical supply vendors in the exhibit hall. An off-site workshop for participants to brush up on Rural Emergency Skills will be offered at 3 times on Thursday. Additional fees apply. Space is limited to 10 participants at each workshop so sign up early. Thursday Awards LuncheonDuring Thursday’s luncheon, NAPA will recognize this year’s deserving award recipients. This luncheon is for conference attendees only. Thursday Dinner & Evening EntertainmentFamily is welcome to attend this event and enterntainment will be provided. COPIC is our sponsor for the dinner meal. Student SocialPA Students from Union College and UNMC are once again invited to attend this student function where socializing and getting to know each other is the focus of the hour. |
Check out the new additions to Friday!Enjoy dual tracking all day on Friday as well. Just like Thursday, you will now get to enjoy the choice for which lecture to attend. We will also offer allotted time for a visit to the exhibit hall prior to its closing at noon. A light dinner will be provided to all attending the evening lectures. There will be an optional free off-site workshop to brush up on your chest X-Ray interpretation skills. Send your registration in early as seats are limited to 20 for this workshop. Friday General Membership Meeting & LuncheonPlease plan to attend and support your professional organization at the NAPA Annual General Membership Meeting while enjoying lunch. This luncheon is for conference attendees only. Although conference attendees who are non-members are invited to join us for lunch, they do not have voting privileges. The students will draw winners for the annual raffle at this time. Friday Evening Entertainment & Appetizer SocialDon’t miss this event! Our dessert social and entertainment begins at 8 pm. Enjoy drinks and desserts while catching up with friends from across the state. Family is welcome to attend this event. SaturdayThese morning lectures are packed with information to take home! Plan to stay for the 4th Annual Last Man Standing Award! This award will be presented at the close of the 11 am lecture. For each lecture you attend on Saturday, you will receive a chance to enter the drawing. The winner will receive a FREE registration to the 2014 or 2015 NAPA Spring CME Conference. |
